Sun City, California, located
midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, sits in a valley ringed by mountain peaks. The core area contains 4,762 residences,
all members of the Sun City Civic Association, an age 55+ community. The core area is built around two golf courses
and the Civic Association provides numerous activities, including swimming, fitness, shuffleboard, and lawn bowling.
Sun City is about a one hour drive to the Pacific Ocean, to mountain recreation areas, and to the California desert.
Diamond Valley Lake, one of the state's largest reservoirs, offers arguably the best fishing in Southern California,
and is ten miles from the Core Area.
